We are looking for someone passionate about learning and development to lead the expansion of our suite of training options for all of our staff employed in Mental Health and Addiction Services in Te Whatu Ora, Waikato.

The heart of this role is to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of a Mental Health and Addiction Service strategic workforce development and training plan to ensure the knowledge and skills of the workforce are aligned with the present and future needs of the service in meeting the needs of tangata whaiora and whānau.

There will be a particular focus on ensuring the workforce is culturally responsive and capable of improving health
- oranga outcomes for Māori. You will join us in a time of innovative approaches to education and training that include orientation, mandatory courses, e-learning, forums, upskilling requirements, competency development, and compliance requirements. This role will be well supported by the professional leaders and the learning and development committee.
