Role Purpose
You will be someone who can:
- Answer incoming telephone calls from customers and stakeholders and attend to and resolve queries
- Daily update of banking reconciliation
- Send out copy invoices/account statements as required
- Open new accounts
- Action account adjustment journals as required
- Maintain accurate records and filing
- Daily Capricorn receipts reconciliation
- Reconcile debtor accounts as required (on a monthly basis for specified large accounts)
- Record and send voucher redemptions when received
- Carrying out various administrative tasks as and where required by the Finance Manager
What we are looking for:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good numerical skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience in general administration duties
- Basic understanding of credit control processes
- General understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively in individual and group situations, both internally and externally
- Problem Solving Skills
- Must be a team player and enjoy working and participating in a team environment.
