As an Industry Advocate - Learner for BCITO, you will represent our learners as a collective, providing them with crucial representation about opportunities and challenges on their journey to qualify.
A particular focus is to provide feedback from a learner perspective on the resources and services provided by BCITO, our online learning system functionality, improvements and issues learners may face along the way.
This role is also responsible for managing the onboarding and developing of selected industry apprentices into apprentice leadership roles, and ensuring the learner voice and learner journey are well understood by teams throughout BCITO.
Work with stakeholders (internal and external) to develop learner profiles, including for under-represented learners, that can be used as the focus for design, testing, and evaluation processes to support the development of an authentic co-design of programmes, learning interventions, and pastoral support.
You will play a lead role in ensuring the skills we deliver today, meet the needs of the learners and employers of tomorrow.

You will have knowledge and passion for the Building and Construction Industry, with a particular focus on learner advocacy, high level relationship building, negotiation and networking skills, honed from either advocacy or key account management.
You have proven engagement with learners and industry stakeholders, and a successful background in industry engagement for educative and commercial purposes.
