Our client is a State Owned Enterprise who are responsible for providing up-to-date information through digital products to enable New Zealanders to make informed decisions in their daily activities.

This includes general updates, critical warnings and advisories, as well as bespoke reports vital to the safe ongoing operations of New Zealand industries and organisations.


ABOUT THE ROLE


A primary emphasis of this position involves the establishment of our client's unified digital platform and advocating for its integration throughout the organization across different tiers.

This platform will serve as the technological cornerstone for both current and upcoming digital products and services.


Experience in the transformation of a conventional enterprise architecture into a genuinely 'cloud first' architecture, encompassing both Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure platforms, would be a valuable asset.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a technical leadership capacity.
  • Practical expertise in technical architecture.
  • A background in development is highly desirable; a substantial data aspect is also present.
  • Proficiency in contemporary
    Azure microservices practices.
  • Operating within a heavily
    APIcentric, cloudbased ecosystem encompassing ESB, IAM, ETL, etc

  • Ready & willing to tackle challenges within a profoundly technical landscape, marked by significant technical debt.
  • High level of planning, organisational and problemsolving skills.
  • Must be fluent in
    Agile ways of working.
