We're recruiting for a
Sales Executive sell some of the most exciting brands in the New Zealand market.

We're not just a beer business You will be selling across our extensive Wine, Spirits, RTD & Beer portfolio - including exciting brands like
Smirnoff, Gordon's, Hyoketsu & Wither Hills.



  • Reporting to our Regional Sales Manager this role looks after a broad territory of customers in the Wellington region. Your territory will cover SH1 north
  • Johnsonville through to Otaki, encompassing Porirua, Paraparaumu & the Kapiti Coast. This role is available on permanent basis and is an excellent opportunity to grow your sales career and gain experience within a leading beverage organisation.

What does a day in the life of a Lion Sales Executive look like?

  • You will work with our established customers, creating innovative strategies that range from account planning to promotional execution with the goal of getting more of our brands into consumers hands
  • You will travel to our customer sites to fully engage and get to know their needs to service and best support them
  • You will be an absolute brand and company advocate delivering growth through onpoint brand execution
  • Work with and collaborate effectively as a part of the wider Sales and Marketing Team
  • Always be on the hunt for potential growth and development opportunities within current and new customers

What are we looking for?

  • Customer and consumer obsessed individual, you'll be driven to build effective and strong customer partnerships
  • Sales experience: You may come from a FMCG, retail, hospitality or even a broader sales background outside of our industry whichever this may be, you are motivated by sales and have a drive for results.
  • A proactive attitude and fearlessness in pursuing new business opportunities. You should be comfortable with actively seeking out prospects and embracing each day with unwavering enthusiasm.
  • Accountability. You keep your promises and deliver on your commitments
  • A full, clean drivers' licence, as well as the ability to work in NZ on a permanent basis
