Job description

Are you ready to kick-start your career in Building and Construction administration? We have a 3-month temporary opportunity with an immediate start based in Albany.

You will be working with a motivated and supportive team that is driven to produce high quality work at pace.

  • ASAP –  3 months with potential extension
  • Albany location
  • $28 per hour + 8% holiday pay

The Role:

The role focusses on delivering outcomes at pace and with high accuracy. You will deal with a diverse range of people that includes the public, builders, internal teams and developers.

  • Managing booking, rescheduling and cancelling inspections
  • Processing and managing waivers
  • Cross checking information across multiple resources
  • Processing client queries – phone and email
  • Arrange team meetings
  • Record and publish key action points from team meetings
  • Data entry
  • Manage fleet and adhoc administration tasks

Skills/Experience/Requirements:

To succeed in this position you will have precious administration experience, be a confident and clear communicator and adaptable to work with changing priorities. This is a fast paced, high-volume environment where flexibility will be required. Key skills include:

  • Experience in building industry highly desired but not essential
  • Experience in fast paced administration environment
  • Ability to process information with speed and accuracy
  • Able to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Team player who can adapt quickly to changes that arise
  • Can problem solve and work under pressure
  • Flexibility to travel to multiple work locations
  • Must have a full NZ Drivers Licence
