About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts person who also will undertake some general admin functions to work in a close knit team with one other.  YOU will be responsible for a range of duties including:   Accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll for a staff of 10, creating invoices, setting up and monitoring direct debits, banking reconciliations, paying creditors from time to time, ordering office supplies and covering phones and reception when necessary.  Working Monday to Friday from 8am to 4.30pm.

Key skills and Attributes:

To be successful in this role, you'll possess a positive and friendly manner, a flexible mindset to pitch in and help out when required as well as good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. In addition we are seeking:

  • 3+ years experience with accounts payable and receivable
  • 4+ years experience working as an Office Administrator
  • Ideally someone who has worked in a trades related business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Office Accounting software packages
  • Strong organisational skills + the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • The ability to build good internal and external relationships
