The Role

We're looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our finance team, initially on a 6-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. You will be the go-to person for billing customers and processing supplier invoices. This is a fast-paced role that would suit someone with strong billing experience and enjoys working across both AR and AP.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Monitor incoming payments and follow up on overdue balances.
  • Apply receipts, complete AR reconciliations and prepare report.
  • Responding to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.

Accounts Payable:

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier records and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and manage AP aging reports.

What you'll need

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance role with billing responsibilities.

  • Intermediate to Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

  • Excellent communication skills.
