MacGear is one of the largest value-added distribution companies in Australasia and has been in operation in New Zealand since 2006 and represents brands such as Withings, Bon Elk, Sphero, Twelve South, Satechi, and various others.

This exciting role as a **Product Manager i**s based in Auckland and will focus on the selling and support of our brands into key retail, online, and B2B accounts e.g. Air New Zealand, Flybuys, Mighty Ape, Spark, OfficeMax, and various others.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and communicate long-term growth strategies for our vendors that will maximise revenue and profitability.
- Effective inventory management, accurate forecasting, and ordering to ensure sufficient stock is available to support our vendor's business whilst ensuring stock is kept under target, both in value and in aging.
- Submit, manage, track, and escalate to ensure vendor pricing and marketing claims promptly every month between all internal (Sales, Finance, etc.) and external stakeholders.
- Effectively manage pricing, margins, and rebates with vendors/customers to maximise brand profitability
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure any product returns are completed accurately/on time and credits are allocated to our business.
- Regularly provide brand/product training to internal and external stakeholders to maximise revenue and profitability.
- When necessary perform store visits to merchandise, promote, and train on brands/products we represent.
- Communicate and ensure all products are loaded into internal systems (ERP, social media, Website, etc.) to ensure all key information is readily available for internal stakeholders to successfully sell and promote vendors' products.

This role looks after some of our emerging brands and is well suited for someone developing in their career as a Product Manager

**Qualification/Skill Set**
- 1- 2 years of Product Management or Assistant Product Management experience
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, NetSuite, and all key internal systems.
- Strong analytical and administrative skills.
- Clear and effective communicator throughout our business.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Vendor & Customer satisfaction, retention, and development.
- An out-of-the-box thinker who constantly evaluates and improves processes and systems within the business to drive efficiency.
- Able to deal with a fast-paced environment without getting flustered.
- Good with numbers and the ability to deliver profitability to the business.
- Strong team player and work ethic.
- Self-starter who is highly motivated and able to work alone.
- Proactive and demonstrate initiative and innovation
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Attention to detail, Responsive and flexible (including helping the wider team out as required)
- Good judgment
- Punctual and reliable
