About the Role

The Product Manager will own products within the Pacific region with special focus on New Zealand and manage the end to end product development for the market. He/she will own the development plan and represent their products within the Product Management team and will have an internal network across product domains. The individual will have a solid understanding of the customer and target market. He/she will represent the needs of the customer to the delivery team and will support and participate in the demo to key stakeholders at program milestones.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with product, content teams, technology teams, sales, marketing and operations teams to manage their product and take it to market.
- Help define value propositions and ROI for products/features based on customer and market insights.
- Engage with customers to present products as well as gather feedback and problem statements.
- Help analyse requirements for global re-use and localization.
- Monitor competitors and track legal/social/technology trends to ensure LexisNexis understands the existing and emergent needs of the market and futureproof the portfolio accordingly.

**Requirements**:

- Has 2-4 years’ experience in a publishing, strategic, product management, legal innovation and/ or technology position
- Has 1+ years’ experience in legal information & technology environment (desirable)
- Prior experience and ability to engage with external clients
- Able to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
- Able to work with others to modify or maintain a product and identify technology challenges.
- Able to influence/ manage cross-functional project team members in a matrix management structure
- Able to identify current trends and future developments which will impact the portfolio and communicate them, with plans to mitigate or take advantage of these trends, to relevant stakeholders
