He angitūtanga | About the role
We're looking for a Senior Organisational Development Advisor to join our Performance and Culture Systems Team. This is a great time to join our team, as we lead an exciting work programme to help shape the future of DOC. Our team is a trusted partner within DOC and is focused on working at a strategic and systems level to help the organisation build its desired culture.
We are looking for a systems thinker and strong collaborator who can take the lead on a range of organisational development initiatives. A specific piece of work you will be involved in will be working alongside the OD Principal Advisor to support and deliver DOC's desired leadership and organisational culture project. Part of this work will involve supporting the quarterly leadership hui for the DOC Senior Leadership team.
The Performance and Culture Systems Team are driven, connected and passionate about their work and making a difference. Your fresh ideas will be welcomed and supported, with autonomy to shape your own work programme.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
You will be an experienced Senior Organisational Development (OD) Advisor who has a varied generalist background including experience developing organisational culture and leadership programmes. As a self-starter with a proactive approach, you will relish the opportunity to grow, develop and own this core foundational piece of leadership and culture work.
If you have the following attributes, we are keen to hear from you:

- proven experience designing and delivering OD initiatives to build organisational culture and capability
- a relevant degree or post-graduate qualification, eg in organisational psychology, organisational behaviour, or human resources
- the ability to develop solutions to varied and complex problems requiring knowledge of OD
- knowledge in areas such as Behavioural Change, Career Development, and Talent Management would be beneficial
- you will be known for your ability to build strong relationships both with senior leaders and stakeholders and have great written and verbal communication skills
- comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- ability to multitask and prioritise a high volume of work
- previous experience working in the public sector will be highly advantageous.

The salary range for this position is $104,412 - $140,117 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory - this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
