The People and Capability team are looking for an experienced Senior Advisor Organisational Development (OD) to help shape the future of the New Zealand Intelligence Community (IC).

About the role

Leading a team of passionate OD Advisors, the Senior Advisor OD provides thought leadership, advice and hands on solution design for organisation-wide people solutions that build our capability and contribute to a great employee experience. With a strong focus on diversity & inclusion, management capability, leadership and performance development the team supports our agencies mission with organisational development expertise from scope through to implementation.

What you'll bring

As a seasoned OD practitioner you'll be an exceptional communicator, you'll have passion for user-centric design and the employee experience. You'll use collaborative, creative approaches to help diagnose OD issues, provide recommendations and implement comprehensive solutions to support our people. As a leader, you'll be committed to coaching and developing your team, drawing on external networks partnerships to share knowledge and build capability. In addition, you'll bring:

- demonstrated experience in organisational development roles
- creative thinking and the determination to solve even the most complex problems
- exceptional project and time management skills
- confident communication style with excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- commitment to people-leadership and a passion for supporting others to be their best
- a great sense of humour
