We have an exciting new opportunity available to join 'New Zealand's Marketing Team of the Year 2022' at our Albany based Support Centre as a **Digital Media Performance Specialist.**
As part of our Marketing team, you will be instrumental in coordinating and delivering digital campaigns that will serve our customers better and ensure we achieve both our short and long-term commercial objectives.
You will strategise, plan, and execute digital media campaigns and digital initiatives, focusing on performance marketing - from search and paid digital to social campaigns to direct to customer comms via owned channels to deliver against key business objectives. Within this role you will also be able to provide your technical knowledge/skills to help upskill and develop the current team of Specialists.
**Reporting to the Head of Retail Marketing, your key functions will include**:
- Lead the review and execution of a 3-year Digital media strategy in conjunction with the Brand, Retail, Direct Marketing and Customer Digital Experience teams through establishing highly collaborative ways of working.
- Lead the planning and support execution to monitor performance and subsequent optimisation on all digital media campaigns and digital activity according to business goals.
- Lead the optimisation of the media performance of our direct-to-customer channels including our websites, social media channels and eDM’s.
- Stay up to date with digital media technologies and latest trends.
- Help grow knowledge of digital marketing and digital media across the full marketing team, focusing on how to drive performance to deliver strong ROI.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- A marketing or digital qualification preferred.
- 4+ years solid expertise in digital campaigns, channel analysis and reporting - client or agency side.
- In-depth understanding of customer segmentation and profiling.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance short-term results and long-term vision.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for turning data insights to action to enhance digital initiatives to drive business growth.
- A strong understanding of digital marketing platforms such as analytics platforms including but not limited to Google Analytics, Google Looker, Snowflake & Google BigQuery.
