Regional Sales Manager

**INTRODUCTION**
Teletrac Navman is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider leveraging location-based technology that empowers people managing mobile assets to move their business forward with certainty.
As a key member of the Sales team, you will have the opportunity to develop growth opportunities for our strategic accounts in the Lower North Island of New Zealand.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities)**
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a
comprehensive sales strategy for the Lower North Island. This entails leading sales engagement for
medium and larger strategic opportunities, with a particular focus on achieving sales revenue
targets and gross profit margins for the channel.
You will also oversee inventory management to ensure efficient operations. As part of
relationship management, you need to establish and nurture partnerships with major accounts in
alignment with the agreed sales strategy.
Further Responsibilities and Duties:
- Market and promote Teletrac Navman and represent Teletrac Navman at conferences, events, or related activities
- Manage activities to your sales budget
- Report Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Sales ‘Pipeline’ and Key Performance Indicators [KPI] to Sales Director as required
- Provide reports as required and forecast using the SalesForce CRM tool
- Keep abreast of competition, competitive advantages, and products
- Maintain a knowledge base of product feature/functionality of competitive products present in the region

To be successful in this role, you will be equipped with:
- 6+ years of business development/sales experience
- A proven ability to effectively manage a channel to market - preferably B2B
- Prior experience within the fleet management/telematics industry
- Proven success in prospecting, building a pipeline, and moving opportunities through the sales cycle
- Customer relationship and conflict management skills
- Prior experience with SalesForce will be advantageous
- Able to understand the product management life cycle
- Prior exposure to the IT industry - preferably GPS technologies
