We have an amazing opportunity for an individual to step into an established Compliance role and continue with the high standards of food safety, health and safety, and wellbeing, look for continuous improvement, and embrace our team culture.
The Compliance Manager role is responsible for ensuring the store meets the following
- Food Safety standards and requirements under our Food Control Plan (FCP)
- Health, Safety and Wellbeing of our Team - Safe Home Every Day
- Council Compliance regulations
- Legislation - existing and new
- Deadlines for implementing and enforcing these requirements to the specified standards
- Audit standards for FS and H&S
Responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring the H&S and FS procedures within the store are appropriately maintained at a level which ensures compliance in all audits
- Active promote health and safety and food safety to all staff
- Provide training and advice at department level to all our staff in food safety and H&S
- Working with external providers and regulatory bodies such as Foodstuffs Advisory Team
- Maintaining accurate records
- Actively supporting the stores' culture and values amongst staff and with the wider Management Team
- Leading staff in seeking continuous improvement in our standards and processes
- Leading initiatives to support safety and wellbeing in our workplace
This is a busy role requiring excellent communication skills and being able to build and maintain working relationships at all levels of the business and with external stakeholders. You will be able to inspire enthusiasm and high standards in all our team members. A background in food safety, health and safety is required for this role.
