**About the role**

We are looking for a Strategic Analyst (Organisational Quality) to join our newly designed National Quality team. In this role, you will oversee efficient and effective organisation quality at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. You will be responsible for coordinating the reporting of compliance, quality assurance and quality improvement activities to the Te Rautiaki Mātauranga (TRM) (Academic Board), monitoring institutional effectiveness, and maintaining relationships with regulatory standards.

You’ll be a self-starter who thrives on refining and creating processes, supporting strategic thinking and evaluation, and ensuring compliance within our Quality Wāhanga. We’re looking for someone who naturally uses technology to improve how we communicate and manage information, and to track and monitor quality improvement initiatives.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Analytics, Data Analysis, Quality Assurance or related field

OR

5+ years’ experience in working in Business Analytics, Quality, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Risk in educational setting
- 2+ years’ minimum experience with a range of IT range of IT tools that support learning, teaching, reporting and data management
- 4+ years’ experience gathering, analysis and documentation
- 4+ years’ experience reporting and record management

To compliment this experience, you will also have plenty of examples where you excel in:

- Demonstrated ability in analysis, report writing, strategic planning and tracking
- Sound project management skills
- Understanding of tertiary education sector, including NZQA, TEC and MOE education regulations and guidelines
- Ability to clearly convey complex information to different audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
