Te Wānanga o Aotearoa is one of Aotearoa’s largest tertiary education providers and upholds whānau transformation through education. We are seeking a motivated individual to lead our property team and make a significant contribution to our tauira (students).

Reporting to the Director - Business Services, this role will be responsible for the national property portfolio as well as national fleet, facilities, asset functions and security communications centre functions (including repairs and maintenance) and will develop and manage national asset management and capital development plans. The Lead - Property will provide direction and advice at a senior level on the national property operations functions of TWoA.
- Extensive experience in commercial property management
- Demonstrated ability in overseeing compliance of multi-site properties, ideally within government or tertiary education organisations
- Proficiency in contract management
- A bachelor’s degree level qualification in property management or related field
- Experience in a kaupapa Māori environment and a willingness to understand of te reo Māori phrases, mihi and greetings and of Māori values, culture and tikanga would be an advantage.
