Jack Links is a manufacturer of high-quality meat snacks, supplying both local and export markets. We are in an exciting growth phase with some challenging goals ahead. To achieve our targets, we are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Administrator to facilitate the consistent flow of accurate information between Sales, Production and Logistics teams, and provide outstanding customer service.
**Job Description**:
**Administrative Tasks**
- Receive and enter all export customer orders, tracking progress throughout each stage.
- Optimise customer container cargo to determine best volume fit for order production.
- Maintain sales order accuracy by entering changes as approved by respective leaders.
- Enter container and bay numbers into export sales orders once empties arrive onsite. Save images as sales order attachment.
- Provide weekly sales order progress report for export customers to Sales & Marketing team, by midday each Wednesday.
- Update paper cut-off, and vessel cut-off dates for all open export Sales Orders, by close of business each Wednesday.
- Maintain customer pricing / groups and discounts for export customers.
- Complete pre-invoice verification once Warehouse shipments have been posted and documentation received, for export orders.
- Provide administrative backup to the Sales Support Officer for all time critical tasks related to local sales orders, customer responses and reporting.
**Customer Support Tasks**
- Respond to ad-hoc export customer queries and tasks in conjunction with key stakeholders.
- Liaise with international customers with paper cut off and shipping information as required.
- Update market managers with any changes to planned dates.
- Ensure all international customer master information, including contact information, payment terms and shipping Incoterms, is shared with Finance to keep accurate and updated.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience within a sales and/or administration support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel
- ERP exposure is essential (Business Central or Navision desirable)
- Ability to interpret data and documents
- Prior exposure to a manufacturing environment or working with inventory is desirable
**Desired Competencies**
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Able to identify and solve problems
- Able to work both independently and within a team environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail a must
- Must be able to multitask and prioritise workload
