Sika is a leading international manufacturer of a high quality, diverse range of specialist materials used extensively in the construction and industrial sectors. We have been in NZ for 60+ years.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the company in the role of Supply Chain Manager. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will optimise raw materials and finished product inventories at the Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch locations. There are five reporting staff members and there will be a strong personal focus on inventory management and distribution processes, all in compliance with the company’s quality management system. This is a fast paced and challenging role.
Ideally, you will have an appropriate tertiary qualification and be suitably experienced in operations or supply chain management functions. In particular, we seek strong communication skills, exposure to computer based ERP systems and effective planning and organisational abilities.
Sika is a well-regarded employer and offers many benefits to a potential employee such as a generous employer contribution to Kiwisaver members, health and income protection insurance, company performance bonus and long service bonuses. After an initial training period, there will be some flexibility to work from home up to two days a week.
