**About the role**:
The role of the Inbound Supervisor is to develop, administer and lead the receiving processes and procedures within Repco distribution. This includes but is not limited to: documentation processing, receiving processing, quality measurement and control, contributing to the delivery of key initiatives and providing support to the Distribution team to ensure targets are achieved.
Collaborative communication between Distribution, Logistics, Support Office and Network Operations is of critical importance, and is pivotal to ensuring that service levels to internal and external customers are concise, professional and timely.
**You will be someone who can/has**:
- Maintain a workplace that is safe and does not risk the health of staff or visitors and does not damage the environment.
- Work collaboratively with the Warehouse Manager and Distribution team to ensure implementation of key objectives.
- Understanding of warehousing and distribution
- Receiving/ Inwards Goods experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound computer and software skills
- Understanding of the legal requirements of importing containers.
- Understanding of the legal requirements of importing and handling dangerous goods.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, maintain and measure accurate inwards goods processes
- Ensure correct processes are adhered to
- Manage inwards staffing and performance
- Control container movements
- Ensure the company adheres to all legislative requirements. E.g. M.A.F, Customs etc.
- Lead improvement plans
- Contribute to maintaining the presentation of the Distribution Centre to a level that meets company requirements.
- Work in a co-operative and constructive manner with other department managers to achieve most effective, efficient results from company resources and department staff
