**Description**:
About the Role

The Inventory and Logistics s Supervisor is accountable for administering and leading all aspects of end-to-end inventory management activities and distribution operations across Hutchinsons third party warehousing and distribution providers 'Big Chill Distribution' (chilled product) and ‘Cardinal Logistics Limited’ (non-chilled product) ensuring stock accuracy and customer service levels are maintained to a high standard.

**Responsibilities will include**:
Lead and accountable for all aspects of end-to-end inventory management to ensure highest integrity and accuracy of the stock records in WMS (M3) and processes for Hutchinsons are achieved at all times.
Monitor the Warehouse team’s adherence to procedures that are critical to inventory management (e.g. FIFO, correct labelling of goods and other tasks) and promptly report any non-compliance to the Warehouse & Distribution manager for further action
Manage all inbound containers, receiving, put-away, reverse logistic, rework, quarantine operations.
Manage outbound despatch discrepancies and escalations from customers.
Lead and manage yearly stocktake, periodical and spot cycle counts, storage location checks. Coordinating activities - scheduling and updating procedures, investigate stock variances and errors, stock reconciliation and refine process to drive continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate documentation of core inventory processes, ensure food safety and quality procedures and policies (VQM) are adhered. Review and monitor the adherence by staff to SOPs which relate directly to the recording and movement of inventory and VQM Compliance.

Carry out duties as and when reasonably directed to do so by the manager from time-to-time and assist Big Chill staff by providing back-up support as and when needed.
Organize and conduct periodic operations review meeting with 3PL partners on Inventory and DIFOT KPIs.
Lead and implement solutions to issues and drive continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experiences in the inventory control, warehousing and distribution operations, preferably within FMCG industry.
Experience in the use of WMS system, ideally M3 or equivalent.
High level understanding of supply chain management and best practice with quality and process focused in mind.
Highly numerate, analytically minded and proficiency in excel to interpret and manage data with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Task orientated; outcome focussed. Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
An individual who is prepared to own a process and accept accountability for performance.
Diplomacy and tact in order to gain support and positive collaborations across all key stakeholders.
High level of self-motivation and initiative. Commitment to continuous improvement
Dependable team player with ability to work well under pressure and to agreed timelines.
Can-Do Attitude is a must, and a great sense of humour is a plus.
