The Job
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Account Executive to join our vibrant and innovative Auckland-based Sales Team, while earning an Uncapped Commission.
You will help potential customers discover unmet needs and demonstrate how simPRO can deliver extraordinary value. As an expert at building strong, core verticals-focused sales pipelines (with or without inbound leads), you can build honest relationships and develop genuine rapport with potential customers.
You are passionate about developing and executing a sales plan with monthly and quarterly activity updates to expand business into new accounts throughout the region. You will be able to generate and maintain expert knowledge of the simPRO suite of products, the trade services industry, competition, market happenings and trends.
This is an Auckland-based role. To be considered, you must be eligible to work legally in New Zealand on a full-time basis.
What You’ll Do- Own, manage and drive the full sales process from the first point of contact through to closing a sale- Performing online demonstrations to interested customers- Maintain a complete, accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, forecast, and activity log- Ensure the development of new business and achievement of sales targets- Maintain a good understanding of trade contracting and field service business workflows to promote product benefits effectively- Accurately assess client and stakeholder needs to create an implementation plan- Deliver compelling and entertaining sales presentations to buyers and buying groups involved in organisations both large and small- Generate referrals and qualified leads from customer referrals, industry trade shows, associations, and regional networking events.
What You’ll Bring- 3-5 years of experience in a similar, new business development role, with lead generation skills- Operational knowledge of, or experience in, the services industry would be advantageous- Experience working with business process software- CRM use experience ideal, preferably Salesforce but not essential- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills- An energy and tenacity for success and meeting targets- Small business background would be an advantage, but not essential- A great attitude and open to learning- High attention to detail regarding documentation and processes.
