The opportunity:
As our National Sales Manager - Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth of the Strategic Accounts Channel through leadership, effective team mentoring, coaching & support, and comprehensive sales strategies.

You will be accountable for building and growing strong effective relationships with Strategic Account Groups to understand their business and enhance their loyalty

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to identify and onboard new Strategic Accounts.- Working closely with the Head of Strategic Accounts and Senior Growth & Initiatives Specialist to develop and implement strategies to achieve sustainable growth of the channel.- Leading the Strategic Accounts grant process, including setting of annual budgets and governance over allocations.- Creating the strategy for the Strategic Accounts events, including the conference and roadshow deliveries.- Providing day-to-day direction and support to the Business Development team, fostering a high-performance culture to achieve sales & retention budgets and AIA Vitality attachment.- Supporting the Head of Strategic Accounts in building a high performing sales team through mentoring, coaching and developing capability.- Overseeing Adviser onboarding processes in collaboration with key stakeholders.- Identifying cross-sell opportunities to establish growth areas, assessing capability and gaps.- Working closely with National Sales Managers and teams across all channels to leverage strong relationships and support a strong sales culture.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Strong sales management skills.- Proven ability in building effective relationships, influencing others, leading and developing high performing teams across functional lines.- Sound experience in distribution management within the financial services industry, with proven success in sales.- Strong understanding of the current market environment, industry structure and pending regulatory change.- Proven ability to think strategically and execute a quality team output under tight timelines.
