The Opportunity
We've partnered with a respected, long-standing B2B technology business that plays a pivotal role in the design and manufacturing sectors across ANZ. Their mix of software, services, and technical support helps customers bring complex projects to life — and they're ready for their next chapter in New Zealand.
They're seeking a Sales Manager who can rebuild, lead, and lift performance across the national sales team. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role where you'll set the standard, coach from the front, and drive consistent sales discipline and accountability.
This isn't a desk-bound management job — it's for a leader who's most at home in the field, shoulder-to-shoulder with their team, customers, and partners. Someone who knows how to turn potential into performance.
Interviewing now and in a position to hire immediately for the right candidate (We understand notice periods and what not - two stage interview process)
About You
Are you a leader who's at your best when things aren't perfect — when there's work to be done, people to develop, and results to turn around?
The current team isn't hitting its stride, and that's your challenge to own. You'll have the freedom to reset the strategy, rebuild capability, and restore the culture of performance. You'll be backed by experienced executives and a respected brand — but this is your show to run.
Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular coaching sessions, think tanks, and strategy meetings with the sales team
- Build team capability in prospecting, sales qualification, and solution selling
- Guide and support the team in developing and executing their own vertical and customer-specific sales plans
- Drive structured daily and weekly planning for calls, meetings, and new opportunity creation
- Ensure consistent activity across the pipeline, aligned to revenue targets and team KPIs
Sales Strategy and Planning
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to align campaigns with regional strategy
- Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on team performance, pipeline health, and revenue outcomes

- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing written feedback and clear development actions
- Report weekly and monthly to the COO, including meeting records and performance summaries
