The National Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales team based in each branch, and providing training on call planning, key customer management and negotiations. Salespeople in the Refrigeration industry have tended to “come off the tools” therefore have a high technical knowledge but not necessarily the sales skills at the same level. The client base is wide, from larger corporates to owner/operator trades people. These customers value a mix of technical expertise and customer focus.
You will have a sales background from a trade related business and understand the impact that a well-structured sales planning process can have on performance. You want to be involved in a NZ owned company and establish good disciplines without constraining the flexible approach that has made them a success.
