Chief Programme Director

As Chief Programme Director, you will be responsible for delivering strategic asset management elements of the Capital Programme efficiently. This involves proactive project management, including resource allocation, deadline setting, and creating project documentation.
About the RoleYou will engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, manage consultancy contracts, and handle project finances. Additionally, you must identify and manage project risks, ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, and maintain a focus on health, safety, and wellbeing.
Project Focuses- Prison Capacity: You will contribute to infrastructure solutions to expand prison capacity in response to the capacity challenge.
- Housing on Prison Land Programmes: You will oversee residential reintegration services on Corrections land, providing effective reintegration support and improving public safety.
We are seeking someone who can build and lead bespoke project teams and proactively manage key project stakeholder relationships. You'll have excellent interpersonal skills and proven negotiation experience, including influencing and building consensus across various internal and external stakeholders.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Demonstrated experience in identifying risks and issues, and successfully implementing plans to resolve these to ensure project delivery.
- Experience within P3M3, change, benefits framework, and drafting investment cases.
- Proactive approach to understanding and applying best practice project management processes, methods, techniques, and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing reports and business cases.
- Excellent organisational skills and drive; ability to deliver projects to achieve desired outcomes to budget and within required timeframe.
The estimated salary for this role is between $121,942 and $172,154, based on the midpoint of $143,461.
