This Principal Advisor position plays a vital role in shaping the land transport strategy and driving improvements to the transport system. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of transport economics and be able to provide expert advice to stakeholders. As part of the Strategy Team, you will work closely with internal and external partners to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in economics, preferably including transport economics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, analysis, and project management
  • A broad base of transport economics knowledge and experience, with the ability to provide and effectively communicate economic analysis
