About the Role:

We're seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Senior Account Executive, focusing on Public Sector solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies across our full portfolio in Public Sector.

As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their business objectives. Your expertise in software and cloud solutions will enable you to effectively communicate the value of our products and drive sales growth.

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • 6+ years' experience in sales of computer software solutions, with a focus on Public Sector
  • Ability to initiate and lead sales opportunities, relating technical and business concepts to customer needs
  • Growth mindset, creativity, and a value-based selling approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell SAS solutions to Public Sector customers
  • Stay ahead of the curve by understanding SAS goals, applications, supported hardware platforms, business trends, and industry knowledge
  • Uncover high-potential accounts and follow leads
  • Work with other sales professionals, customer advisory teams, and executives to react quickly to highly qualified leads
  • Prepare quotes and proposal information, and work cross-functionally to create and finalize contracts
