Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Operations Coordinator to join our Urology Department as a key member of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Head of Department (HOD) and clinicians, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and effective communication within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the HOD's calendar, coordinating meetings and disseminating information internally and externally.
- Provide administrative support, including leave & on-call roster, claims/honorarium, training records, onboarding for clinicians, and point of contact for clinical fellows and visiting consultants.
- Assist HOD and clinicians in travel conference logistics, whenever necessary.
- Maintain department fund expenditure, clinical training funds, and staff funds.
- Point of contact for asset management, IT asset, and procurement matters for the department.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or related qualification preferred.
- At least two years' working experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Good coordination, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
- Proactive, self-motivated, with a 'can-do' attitude and ability to work independently.
