Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to join our administration team as a Ski Field Operations Coordinator.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our ski fields. This will involve performing reception duties, updating snow reports, processing lift tickets, and reuniting lost children with their parents.

You will also be required to maintain ski area records, coordinate the issue and return of staff uniforms, and take notes in emergency situations.

Additionally, you will be responsible for producing innovative and informative staff newsletters and assisting with staff events and incentives.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing the switchboard and greeting guests
  • Updating snow reports via telephone, internet, and radio
  • Processing lift tickets for VIPs and media personnel
  • Reuniting lost children with their parents
  • Providing administrative support to management and other departments
  • Maintaining ski area records, including invoicing, health and safety, and training records
  • Coordinating the issue and return of staff uniforms
  • Taking notes in emergency situations if requested
  • Ordering stationery supplies
  • Producing innovative and informative staff newsletters
  • Assisting with staff events and incentives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong administrative background, including excellent keyboard skills and a professional phone manner
  • Exceptional organizational ability and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Proven experience in working autonomously and making sound decisions
  • The ability to engage and build rapport with guests and staff quickly
  • Strong teamwork skills and experience in frontline customer service
