About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and efficient receptionist to join our community nursing administration team at Wakari Hospital Toroa Centre. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, which may vary on a daily basis, and requires strong communication skills to interact with patients and staff.

Job Description: The primary function of this role is to provide front-of-house reception duties, including answering phone calls, managing patient records, and performing general administrative tasks. You will need to be able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team, using your initiative to ensure tasks and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
  • Managing patient records and maintaining accurate data
  • Performing general administrative tasks, such as filing and photocopying
  • Assisting with clinical procedures and events
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work well under pressure. You should also be proficient in using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous experience in a busy administrator role would be an advantage.
