Kaiurungi Maori Partnership Manager

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Kaiurungi Maori Editor to lead our Maori language and culture initiatives and ensure their integration into our newsroom.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of te ao Maori and its applications, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Rautaki Maori strategy
- Collaborate with senior editorial team to promote Maori inclusion
- Provide editorial guidance and support to staff
- Ensure accurate representation of te reo Maori and concepts from te ao Maori
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in journalism and writing
- Excellent judgment and editing skills
- Good knowledge of te ao Maori and its applications
- Familiarity with digital landscape and social media platforms
- Strong relationship management skills
