**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Medical Dermatologist to join our team based at Dunedin Hospital. As a key member of our specialist team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on skincare, diagnosing and treating acute skin conditions, conducting skin examinations, and performing minor surgical procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Providing outpatient clinics for patients referred by their General Practitioner
  • Working closely with specialist teams to provide advice, support, and treatment for complex skin conditions
  • Diagnosing and treating acute skin conditions, conducting skin examinations, and performing minor surgical procedures

**Requirements**

  • Training and postgraduate qualifications as a Medical Dermatologist
  • Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a Dermatologist or eligibility to apply for Provisional Vocational Registration

**What We Offer**

This role belongs to the ASMS Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($185,380) and Step 15 ($267,980 per annum pro rata), dependent on prior experience and allowances.
