Accounting Specialist

Accounting Role at Auctus
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
* Prepare and assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
* Generate and send invoices to clients, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
* Monitor and categorize expenses to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
* Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees and compliance with tax regulations.
* Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to financial practices.
* Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal departments to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
**Qualifications:**
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
* Experience: If no relevant qualifications above, at least three years of relevant experience is required.
* Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
