Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Executive to join our team in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. As an Area Sales Executive, you will be responsible for growing our business by signing, training, and activating new Western Union agents and managing business development activities with existing agents in your territory.
  • You will be accountable for meeting/exceeding sales quota/targets across your territory, through new agent acquisition and increasing same store sales. You will also manage end-to-end sales process for independent agents, including selling the complete product portfolio where relevant.
  • In addition, you will focus on the ramp-up of new locations to ensure they achieve full revenue potential, manage existing accounts within the territory, and increase same store sales.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in outside sales or servicing customer products
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand market
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Able to present and listen to your agents and build trust and confidence with them
  • Fluency in English is required; other foreign language skill is a plus (organization, written and verbal communication skills) and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
