Hospital Account Manager

The Hospital Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and developing key account management plans for selected products. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, as well as a deep understanding of the NZ public and private healthcare system.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve territory sales target for allocated products
  2. Develop and maintain opportunities and key account management plans for selected products
  3. Work effectively in conjunction with other S+N staff where overlap of territory/account responsibilities exists
  4. Actively participate at all scheduled sales and team huddle meetings

You will also need to ensure that all territory planning activities help drive the correct actions to maximize the return on the investment as per playbook.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in science or business related discipline
  • Proven experience in medical sales especially in the hospital sector influencing HCP's relevant to the portfolio
  • Good understanding of the NZ public and private healthcare system
  • Travel Requirements: approx. 30% depending on business needs
