About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Professional to join our ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions New Zealand team based in Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in our residential hardware portfolio through engaging existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.
This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and business acumen. Key responsibilities include:

  • Fostering strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new opportunities through business development activities.
  • Designing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive market share growth.
  • Providing technical support and resolving customer concerns promptly.
  • Collaborating with marketing to create targeted advertising campaigns and promotional materials.

About You To succeed in this role, you must be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of driving sales growth in a similar environment. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of the Residential construction sector. We're looking for someone who brings:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in building products or hardware.
  • Established connections and strong relationships within Residential construction, as well as a proven track record of acquiring new clients in this segment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact confidently in a range of environments from project sites to boardrooms.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • A creative problem solver with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
