Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of Xero's commercial relationship with accountants and bookkeepers in a defined territory or market. This involves:

* Developing and executing strategic plans to expand Xero's presence in the defined territory
* Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key partners, including accountants and bookkeepers
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales goals
* Providing regular updates and insights to senior leadership on sales performance and territory developments

Requirements
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Strong understanding of the accounting and bookkeeping industry, including relevant software and systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Results-driven and process-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.
