We are seeking an experienced Triage Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Ambulance 111 Emergency Call Centre team, you will be responsible for providing essential health and well-being support and advice to people across New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide secondary triage to patients who may not require an ambulance, but may need alternative care pathways or self-care advice.
  • Triage patients over the telephone, assessing and helping callers take appropriate action, or utilise the correct level of care for a given problem.
  • Give advice and support that respects backgrounds and cultures.

You will be working in shifts to provide 24/7 support over the phone and online for a range of healthcare services. If you're excited about this role and have the necessary skills and experience, please apply.

Requirements
  • NZ Registered Nurse or Paramedic with a current practising certificate.
  • Background in paramedicine or general nursing with 3 years' post-registration experience.
  • Ideally, two years' experience in acute care, primary care or Teletriage.
  • Stay calm under pressure.
  • Confidence to work with technology, tools, and resources.
