Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Defect Manager to join our Nga Tapuwae Transformation Programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our technology solutions and business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the defect management process, ensuring timely resolution of defects and maintaining the integrity of our software.
  • Develop and refine defect management processes, securing relevant approvals, and ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with business teams, internal development teams, IT teams, and third-party vendors to achieve timely and efficient closure of defects.
  • Triage defects, assign them to appropriate action owners, and accelerate progress towards resolution.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of defect management methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in developing and executing Business Acceptance testing processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Information Technology).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in defect management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within the banking industry.
