Job Details

This part-time role is available for 28 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday as rostered. You will be based at our Centre Palmerston North.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to enquiries from the public
  • Triage and coordination of animal emergencies
  • Providing animal transport
  • Assisting with administration tasks

To be considered for this role, you must have the minimum qualification of a current Auxiliary Officer License and experience within animal welfare and/or extensive animal handling.

We are looking for someone who is confident, reliable and able to work independently. You will also need to be physically fit and able to drive larger vehicles such as vans and Utes.
