Job Summary
We're seeking a highly organized and communicative Receptionist to join our front desk team at Ibis Wellington. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will ensure a warm welcome, efficient check-in and check-out processes, and provide valuable local knowledge to enhance their stay.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves:
- Welcoming guests from all corners of the world and ensuring a memorable experience
- Assisting with arrivals and departures, handling cash transactions, and maintaining security procedures
- Providing helpful local insights and promoting hotel facilities to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Maintaining guest property documentation and upholding high standards of customer care
- Contributing to Accor loyalty programs and fostering positive relationships with colleagues across departments
Requirements
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a hotel environment (not essential)
- Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and non-verbal interactions
- An organized approach, with a keen eye for detail and ability to take initiative
- Familiarity with PMS systems (Opera cloud & TARS Database or similar) is preferred
