At Te Tautoko Ora, we are seeking a skilled Building Programme Tutor to deliver high-quality training and education to rangatahi (Māori youth) participating in our programme.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term position of 30 hours per week from January to April 2025. As a tutor, you will be responsible for teaching foundational skills aligned with the BCATS Level 1 and 2 standards while fostering a learning environment grounded in tikanga Māori, manaakitanga, and whanaungatanga.

Skill Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of building and construction curriculum
  • Ability to teach theoretical and practical components of the subject
  • Familiarity with BCATS Level 1 and 2 standards
  • Capacity to empower rangatahi by promoting a positive learning environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions
  • Develop and maintain course materials and resources
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with programme managers to achieve programme objectives

Salary Information
