Lead Fire Safety Specialist

As a Senior Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for leading fire engineering projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial. You'll work closely with clients and other in-house engineering disciplines, delivering tailored solutions that meet project requirements and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead fire engineering projects, managing technical aspects and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative fire safety solutions
- Conduct fire risk assessments & analysis
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering growth within the team
- Stay current with advancements in fire engineering and contribute to the continuous improvement of best practices
You should have:
- An understanding of Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand Building Code and fire safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams

Salary RangeThe estimated annual salary for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 NZD, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
