About the RoleAs a Psychiatry Registrar, you will be part of a dynamic team working across various services, including Emergency Psychiatry, Youth specialty services, Early intervention service, and more. Our ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Psychiatry and possess a minimum of two years post-qualification experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of psychiatric services
- Collaborate with Consultants, Registrars, House Officers, Nursing and Allied Health professionals
- Work across a range of runs, including emergency, youth, early intervention, and specialist addiction services
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for general or provisional general registration
- A minimum of two years post-qualification experience
- A strong interest in Psychiatry and commitment to working in New Zealand
