Sales and Business Growth Manager

About the Role:
Aramex New Zealand is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join their team in Wellington. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and acquiring new business customers within the Wellington region to drive substantial revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, and experience working with SMEs and 3PL customers. You will be proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting tools, with excellent communication and presentation skills. Additionally, you will have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the Wellington region as required.
In this role, you will:
• Identify and acquire new business customers within the Wellington region
• Achieve designated individual sales targets through strategic planning and execution
• Develop tailored courier service solutions to meet the needs of small to medium-sized businesses and third-party logistics (3PL) customers
• Maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients and ensure consistent conversion rates
Key Challenges and Success Factors:
• Deliver on regional new business growth targets
• Ensure customer commitments and service agreements are acted upon promptly
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and Courier Franchisees to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service excellence
• Maintain a deep understanding of Aramex's services and pricing structures to effectively communicate value to prospective clients
