Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive business growth and pipeline development for our clients, high-performing interior fit-out consultancies that are family-owned and operated.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years of experience in business development in New Zealand, with strong skills in project management and sales, and a proven ability to understand and engage with people effectively. We are looking for someone who can spend time working with organizations seeking solutions around their real estate footprint to achieve the company's strategic objectives.
This includes working with internal teams across business development, workplace strategy, and design teams to understand and articulate what is best for the business, while engaging stakeholders, including landlords and property partners, to ensure outcomes that best suit the client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Activity: Conduct outbound phone calls/telemarketing and hold quality conversations with prospects and customers.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and meeting business objectives.
  • Salesforce Utilisation: Leverage Salesforce to track customer interactions, manage leads, and analyze sales performance.
  • Pipeline Development: Identify new business opportunities and drive pipeline growth through strategic planning and execution.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities that align with business goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and maximize business outcomes.

  • Strong Understanding and Practical Experience with Salesforce or Similar CRM Systems:
