About the Directorate

This Directorate is responsible for supporting the delivery of key government outcomes. We work closely with Ministers, Crown CEOs, and government decision-makers to shape our country's collective tomorrow. As a Team Assistant, you will play a key role in providing administrative support to leaders and teams, coordinating meetings and liaising with stakeholders, maintaining and updating reports, and developing and drafting a range of correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Email, inbox and diary management
  • Coordinating meetings and liaison with stakeholders
  • Maintaining and updating reports
  • Developing and drafting a range of correspondence
  • Creating reports from databases
  • Taking minutes and following through on actions
  • Resource, finance (including invoice/payment), HR and travel administration
  • Leading and assisting event management as required, including logistics and programme scheduling

About You

  • Highly organised, efficient with an eye for detail
  • Pro-active, can-do attitude, and looking to stretch your administrative capabilities
  • Able to multi-task, re-prioritise and react to issues that arise during the day while keeping calm and professional
  • Strong customer focus, excellent communication/interpersonal skills
  • Enjoy building great relationships
  • Excellent IT skills and an experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite
