Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Help Desk Technician to join our team at Consult Recruitment. As a Service Desk Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional IT support services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To handle and resolve Level 1.5 and Level 2 incidents, service requests, and ITSM tasks efficiently.
  • To maintain up-to-date and accurate records of IT assets and configurations.
  • To evaluate complex issues and escalate them to relevant team members while ensuring timely communication.
  • To track and document progress, provide updates to users, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • To create and update knowledge base articles and process templates to enhance user experience.
  • To support governance audits, compliance checks, and project success initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary-level qualification in IT or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of practical service desk experience with strong customer service skills.
  • Prior experience in providing tier 1 and tier 2 troubleshooting services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Entra ID, access management tools, cloud technologies, and ITIL practices.
  • Hands-on knowledge of hardware, software, and relevant call-tracking tools.
