Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of insurance claims, including all claims and negotiations across the Motor portfolio.
  • Report to the Motor Claims Manager and provide regular updates on claim status.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce/mitigate claims costs.
  • Deliver general technical assistance and advice in regards to applications to insurance law.
  • Answer customer enquiries around coverage, lodging a claim, and information required to support a claim.
  • Escalate risk and compliance related concerns, issues and failures.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year's experience in the insurance industry, with sound knowledge of claims processes and experience with motor or motorcycle insurance products. They will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, high level interpersonal and analytical skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise tasks to meet timeframes.
